Part Location Details

On this page you can edit existing part location details. You are also navigated to this page when you click New on the Part Locations page.

Location Details

You can configure the following:

Name: The name of this physical location where parts are stored
Description
Part location type: Select an admin-configured location type; if the location type is a site or a vehicle, you are prompted to select the specific site or vehicle that stores parts; if the location type is a warehouse, you are prompted to enter the address and other details about the warehouse (see below); you can also select Other type if the location is not pre-configured part location type
Count enabled: Indicates whether the inventory counts are automatically tracked at this location; if selected, you are prompted to select a Part count profile
Replenish enabled: Indicates whether part requests are automatically created when inventory counts reach the point configured in the Part replenish profile; if selected, you are prompted to select a Part replenish profile
Status: Indicates whether the part location is active or inactive

When you select a Part location type that is a warehouse, you can configure the following location information about the warehouse:

Country: Select the country where the warehouse is located
Address line 1
Address line 2
Postal code
City
State
Language: Select the main language spoken by the labor resources at the warehouse
Time zone key: Select the time zone the warehouse is located in
Primary contact info for the warehouse (email, phone number, mobile phone, and fax)
Latitude and Longitude: click Load to automatically load the latitude and longitude based on the address given
